Walter B. Branch, Ph.D.

Specializing in Child and Adolescent Assessment and Therapy

Walter B. Branch, Ph.D. has been a licensed psychologist in Georgia since 1991. He obtained a B.S. in Psychology
from Georgia Southern College in 1983, an M.A. in Psychology from Georgia Southern College in 1985, and a Ph.D.
in Psychology from The University of Georgia in 1991. He completed a Clinical Internship at the Medical College of
Georgia (MCG) and the Richmond County public school system. After two years as a School Psychologist with the
Richmond County Board of Education, he joined Coastal Psychology in 1993. Dr. Branch also served for one year as
a school psychologist with the Effingham County public school system. Dr. Branch holds clinical privileges at Memorial
Health University Medical Center and Coastal Harbor Treatment Center in Savannah.

Dr. Branch specializes in diagnostic assessment and treatment of children and adolescents, learning disabilities and
ADHD, and behavioral and emotional problems. He has conducted in-service training workshops for the Chatham
County Department of Family and Children Services and has assisted local Head Start teachers in the identification
of children with potential psychological problems.
