| Joseph M. Lane, Ph.D. has been a licensed psychologist in Georgia since
1984. He obtained a B.S. in Psychology in 1966, an M.S. in Experimental
Psychology in 1968, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1970, from The
University of Georgia, and he completed a Clinical Internship at Georgia
Regional Hospital in Savannah in 1975. From 1989 to 2001, Dr. Lane was a
consulting psychologist with the Department of Corrections at Coastal State
Prison in Garden City, Georgia, and with the Regional Youth Development Center
in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Lane completed a Post-Doctorate in Clinical
Psychopharmacology from Georgia State University, the University of Georgia
and Medical College of Georgia in 1999. In 2001, after 31 years as a Professor of Psychology at Armstrong Atlantic State University, he entered part-time private practice in Savannah, Georgia, and in 2007, he entered full-time private practice with Coastal Psychology in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Lane is also a member of the American Psychological Association, the Southeastern Psychological Association, the Georgia Psychological Association, and the Coastal Association of Psychologists. Dr. Lane specializes in diagnostic assessment, including forensic evaluations, as well as psychotherapy for adolescents and children. He has been married 16 years and has two sons. |
