Dr. Nagelberg specializes in diagnostic assessment, including psychological and neuropsychological evaluations. He has completed thousands of diagnostic evaluations for children and adults, including numerous Fitness for Duty evaluations for The Southern Company (Georgia Power), QTC, Comprehensive Health Services, the City of Savannah (Police Department), the United States Army, and the United States Marine Corp.
Dr. Nagelberg has been a licensed psychologist in Georgia since 1981. He obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Bucknell University in 1975, an M.A. (1977) and Ph.D. (1980) in Clinical Psychology from Bowling Green State University, and he completed a Clinical Internship at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham (UAB). After five years as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Georgia Southern University, he founded Coastal Psychology, which has become one of the South's premiere facilities for psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessment.
Dr. Nagelberg holds clinical privileges at Coastal Harbor Treatment Center in Savannah. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Southeastern Psychological Association (SEPA), the Georgia Psychological Association (GPA), and the National Academy of Neuropsychology NAN).
Dr. Nagelberg's personal interests are in health and fitness; in addition to family time, he rigorously trains and competes in local and international road races and triathlons, including IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant. This past September (2019), he competed on Team USA at Age Group World Championships (standard distance triathlon) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Daniel A. Bochner, Ph.D. Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Bochner provides psychological evaluation for children and adults. His approach to psychological evaluation and psychotherapeutic treatment applies his spontaneous and authentic interpersonal style to diagnosing and working in-depth within assessments, for both brief and long-term treatments.
Dr. Bochner has been working in the psychotherapy field since 1987 in community mental health centers, psychiatric facilities, private practice and in the U.S. Navy.He has been a licensed psychologist since 1998. For the past 13 years, he has been in private practice. As a member of the adjunct faculty at the Savannah Campus of the Georgia School of Professional Psychology, Dr. Bochner has taught Clinical Theory and Marriage and Family Therapy. He has also led Clinical Seminars.
Dr. Bochner earned his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin in 1985, an M.A. (1992) and Ph.D. (1997) in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, and he completed an APA Clinical Internship at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. Up until May 2001, he was an active duty psychologist in the United States Navy. At his final duty station, Dr. Bochner was the department head for the Mental Health Unit at Parris Island in South Carolina. Dr. Bochner is the author of The Emotional Toolbox: A Manual for Mental Health, and The Use of Self in Family Therapy, in which he introduces his "Relational Systems Model" for psychotherapy.
Kristin M. Fiano, Ph.D. ABPP Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Kristin Fiano is an American Board of Professional Psychology board certified neuropsychologist and an active member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, and the American Psychological Association. Board certification requires a rigorous evaluation process and assures that Dr. Fiano is properly trained and competent to perform thorough neuropsychological evaluations for children and adults.
Over the past 20 years, she has worked with a diverse population performing thousands of evaluations spanning a wide range of issues with experience in both clinical and forensic cases. Some examples include independent neuropsychological evaluations, fitness for duty evaluations, psycho-educational evaluations for children to assess for learning disorders (such as dyslexia), testing for ADHD, parenting capacity assessments in child protection matters, evaluations for dementia, pre-employment screenings, and more. She also works for a nationally recognized company providing quality assurance services and has given webinars and presentations at national conventions on topics such as cognitive aging.
Dr. Fiano completed her undergraduate degree in psychology from Emory University. She spent the next five years at the University of Florida where she earned her Master's degree and Ph.D. in clinical psychology with an emphasis in neuropsychology. She also completed her internship at UF, with a neuropsychological emphasis. Board certification by the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology was completed in 2005 and she continues to be a member of AACN/ABPP.
Dr. Fiano spent her post-doctoral year in Atlanta working as the project coordinator for an NIH grant and as the data manager for a CDC study via Emory University. During this time, she continued clinical work as the president of the Institute for Psychological Development. Shortly thereafter, she joined a national neuropsychological-based research project at the Atlanta VAMC and opened her own private practice in 1997, which has operated continuously for over 20 years. After 20 years of solo practice, Dr. Fiano joined forces with the highly respected practice of Coastal Psychology.
Dr. Fiano has been married for more than 30 years to her loving husband and has been a resident of the Landmark Historic District for more than 18 years, where she is an active part of the community.
Amanda Harrison has been with Coastal Psychology since 2006, shortly after she graduated high school. She loves her job and the people she works with. Amanda is a proud military wife who enjoys traveling, decorating, crafting, and being surrounded by family and friends. She obtained her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology in 2014, and was promoted to office manager in 2016.

Olivia Sampson joined the team as a part-time office assistant in 2011, then moved into a full-time position shortly after. She is a proud mother of two children, who keep her on her toes. Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as shopping and going to concerts.
